Did you know that 2005 marks the centennial of Einstein's famous equation of the Theory of Relativity, E = mc2 In recognition of this milestone, and to commemorate the "World Year of Physics 2005", PBS this fall will premier a special NOVA program that will bring to life the dramatic stories of scientists who laid the foundation for and later built upon Einstein's revolutionary equation. WGBH's NOVA Science Unit, with the assistanceof the American library Association Public Programs Office, has chosen the Milanof - Schock Library as one of 20 selected outreach sites from across the nation. Outreach sites receive a $2500 grant to be used for science programming and resources.

As an outreach site, the Milanof - Schock Library will have the opportunity to become the community's ultimate resource for E = mc2. Createive programming and resources will demystify and reveal the facinating history of the equation and show how it affects our daily lives.
