you can help make the decorations for the

Memorial Day Library Float

at the library at 4:00 pm

 

Then you are invited to ride the float in the

Memorial Day Parade on Saturday, May 24

You must pre-register at 653-1510. Where and when info will be given when you register. Seating is limited.

 

Wild About Books Club                           Fridays, May 2 - 16, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

A book Club for children age 5 to 7 years. Each week focuses on a different children’s author or theme.

 

A Visit from The Hungry Caterpillar         Thursday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m.

The costume character from acclaimed creator Eric Carle’ book a Very Hungry Caterpillar eats its way into the hearts of children.

 

Sing and Sign Story Time                           Wednesday, May 21 at 10:30 a.m.

                                                                      Thursday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m.

This ASL based storytime will feature signing through books and song is a great family time for children 6 & under and their caregiver. 

 

Home School Art Class                               Thursday, May 22 at 1:00 p.m.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM

 Kick off SUNDAY, JUNE 1 at 2:00 p.m.

with the family program

“Bugs and Moose Out on the Loose”

Tom Sieling, widely acclaimed singer and songwriter from Newfield, New York, will perform a very participatory family program.

This show consists of humorous songs about our natural world and more that are guaranteed to engage everyone. Tom accompanies himself on guitar, banjo, harmonica, and a drum machine, and all songs include parts for the whole family. The program is free and everyone, of all ages, is invited.

Regular CHILDREN's Programming

Mondays 

Snorey Times: For 4-8 year olds. Wear your jammies and bring your favorite stuffed animal to enjoy stories on  

May 5 @ 6:45 to 7:30 pm. Free.

Chess Club: Do you like to play chess? Do you need someone to play against? Or do you want to learn more about chess? Then come to our chess club. The Chess Club now meets every Monday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. The Chess Club is open to all ages and skill levels! Bring your own board, or use one that is provided by the library. Free. No registration is required. Hope to see you there!


Tuesdays

Lapsit: a time for the young child, ages 6 months to 24 months to enjoy stories, fingerplays and rhymes with their caregiver. Offered on

May 13 @ 10:30 am Free.

Toddler Time: for 2 - 3 year olds with a caregiver. Stories, activities, and fun! Offered May 20 @ 10:30am. Free.

Homework Room

every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 pm to 5 pm

Need a quiet place to study?  We will offer a quiet room open for school students with computers for word processing and online to access to our Homework Helpline and research.  The room will NOT be available for gaming or checking your email.

Wednesday Preschool Story Time: Story telling, activities, and crafts for children ages 3 - 5 years.
